Who we are
Dumb Bambi provides free online calculators for UK businesses and hospitality operators. You can contact us at hello@dumbbambi.co.uk.
Information we collect
- Information you provide. Email address and optional name when you sign up for the newsletter, request calculation results by email, or create an account.
- Calculator inputs. Values you enter into calculators. These are processed in your browser; a summary may be stored if you choose to email results to yourself.
- Account data. If you sign in, we store your authentication identifier and any costings you save.
- Technical data. Basic request information (IP address, browser type, pages visited) collected automatically by our hosting provider and analytics.
How we use your information
- To operate the calculators and deliver requested results.
- To send newsletter and product updates you have opted into.
- To maintain, secure and improve the site.

We rely on your consent for marketing emails and non-essential cookies, legitimate interests for keeping the site secure and improving it, and performance of a contract where you have an account with us.
Sharing your information
We use trusted third-party processors to run the service, including our hosting and database provider, our transactional email provider (Resend), and advertising partners (Google AdSense). They only process data on our instructions and under appropriate safeguards. We do not sell your personal data.
Data retention
We keep newsletter and lead data until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Account and saved-costing data is kept for as long as your account is active. Technical logs are retained for a limited period for security and diagnostics.
Your rights
